Bring More Visitors and Locals to City Island

City Island is a small island off Pelham Bay Park, connected by the City Island Bridge and served by the Bx29 bus. City Island Avenue runs its length, lined with seafood restaurants, antique shops, galleries and marine businesses, and boatyards and yacht clubs fill the shoreline. On warm weekends the avenue fills with visitors from across the region; in winter it is mostly residents.

That seasonality shapes everything about marketing here. Restaurants need strong photos, current menus and fast replies to reviews in the spring and summer, when visitors decide where to eat based on their phone. Marinas, boat repair and storage businesses search for customers year round but especially before the season starts. Residents, meanwhile, still need a dentist, a lawyer and a contractor, and they tend to prefer someone close by.
